Mia Goth and Ti West’s MAXXXINE character posters have been released

A24 has shared a collection of character posters for the writer and director Ti Westis the next horror thriller MaXXXine. The next film in a horror trilogy that also includes films X AND Pearl. The film is said to be the final chapter of the story and is set in 1980s Hollywood.

The stars of Maxxine My Gothic, as adult film star and aspiring actress Maxine Minx. She is joined by an ensemble cast that includes Halsey, Elizabeth Debicki, Moses Sumney, Michelle Monaghan, Bobby Cannavale, Lily Collins, Giancarlo EspositoAND Kevin Bacon.

In the film, “As a mysterious killer stalks Hollywood starlets, a trail of blood threatens to reveal his sinister past.” The assassin chasing Maxxine is the Night Stalker.

Goth previously spoke about the film, saying: “It’s the biggest story of the three with the highest stakes and Maxine has been through a lot at this point.”

He goes on to explain, “So when we find her in this new world, she’s just a force to be reckoned with and has some pretty wild adventures.”

And he goes on to say, “I understand MaXXXine like a superhero movie: that’s how I read the script. Maxine, as a character, has come a long way. She’s a survivor, she’s been through a lot. When we meet her again, in this new world that she finds herself in, she’s really fought for everything that she has, and she’s not about to give up.

Goth continues: “He will fight for what he has. She’s tough. There is a strength in her. She and she is a truly proactive, determined and focused woman. She goes after what she wants and won’t really take no for an answer.”

The film will be released in theaters on July 5, 2024.
