Legendary actor Donald Sutherland has died at the age of 88

It is with a heavy heart that we highlight that legendary actor Donald Sutherland, whose career spanned over sixty years, has passed away. He passed away in Miami at the age of 88 after battling a long illness.

Sutherland is the actor’s father Kiefer Sutherland and executive of CAA Media Finance Roeg Sutherland.

His contributions to the world of cinema have left a huge mark on the industry, making him a favorite figure among film fans and a revered icon in Hollywood.

Sutherland had an incredible career and was definitely dedicated to the art of acting. Sutherland’s journey into the world of acting began in the 1960s. His breakthrough role came in 1970 with Robert Altman’s war comedy MIXTUREwhere he played the sardonic surgeon “Hawkeye” Pierce.
