Tatiana Maslanybest known for her starring role in Marvel She-Hulk: Lawyeras well as Orphan Black, Invitation to the bonfireAND Invinciblehas signed on to star in a pilot for Amazon MGM Studios titled The Night Beast by the creators Lia Rachele (Rooms) AND Travis Jackson (Hemlock grove).
Maslany will also produce the pilot which follows a young mother dissatisfied with her seemingly perfect suburban life, who begins a relationship with the boogeyman in her son’s closet, a surprisingly sexy man named Nightbeast.
But this harmless relationship she thought was a figment of her imagination begins to have unexpected consequences, as her two worlds increasingly begin to collide in this seductive and darkly comic tale.
The project’s executive producers are Peter Warren, Justin Levy, Fred Berger and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones (Station26, A Range Company), Kristen Campo (Campout) and Jamie Babbit (director).
