First story details for new JURASSIC WORLD movie shared;  Ready to shoot in Malta, Thailand and the UK

Jurassic World 4 is entering production and will film in Malta, Thailand and the UK Gareth Edwards put at the helm.

With a screenplay by David Koeppthe new film is billed as “an all-new version that launches a new Jurassic era, following three adults and three teenagers stranded on the island.”

The new film has also been labeled “Jurassic World 4” and “Jurassic City.” The film is produced by Steven Spielberg, Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley, it should star Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey, Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Mahershala Ali, Friend Rupert, Luna Blaise AND Davide Iacono.

Thailand’s month-long unit production was confirmed by the director general of the country’s Department of Tourism, Jaturon Phakdeewanit.

It said production will take place from June 13 to July 16 in locations including Bangkok, Trang, Phang Nga, Phuket and Chiang Mai. Additionally, the Huai To waterfall, within the Khao Phanom Bencha National Park in Krabi province, is expected to last a week.

The Maltese production, facilitated by Latina Productions and Malta Film Studios, will follow between July and September, followed by Sky Studios Elstree, through Saga Productions.

The complete film, produced by Kennedy/Marshall, Amblin Entertainment and Universal Pictures, will be released on July 2, 2025.
