Marvel’s BLADE Loses Director Yann Demange

Marvel Studios’ Lama has lost another director. According to The Wrap, Yann Demange he is no longer attached to direct the film and parted ways with Marvel “some time ago.”

According to the report, Marvel believes that “get Lama right it’s much more important than releasing the film.” It is explained that “the pressure to produce as much content as possible has been eased” and the studio now has “some breathing room”.

The parting between Demange and Marvel was amicable, and the film’s script is currently in development The fantastic Four writer Eric Pearson.

Marvel can and should take its time working on all of its films to fine-tune the story and script before they go into production.

Mahershala Ali is still attached to star in the film, and previously offered an update saying, “We’re working on it. That’s the best I can tell you. I’m really encouraged by the direction of the project.

“I think we will return to this topic relatively soon. I’m genuinely encouraged as far as the situation and who’s on board and who’s leading the way as far as script writing and directing and everything else. So that’s all I can tell you.

Lama it will be the second R-rated film released by Marvel Studios, the first being Shawn Levy AND Ryan Reynolds’imminent Deadpool 3.

It was previously reported that Marvel was looking to adopt “a darker tone for this film than other MCU projects in the past.”

My Gothic AND Delroy Lindo they are also assigned to star in the film.
