Judy Greer (13 I’m going to 30, Ant-Man) AND Sofia Lillis (It, Dungeons and Dragons: Honor Among Thieves) will star in an upcoming dark comedy film project titled Knights’ camp.
Knights’ camp follows “four teenagers wrapped in bubbles at a medieval-themed summer camp. On the eve of the famous re-enactment of the Battle of the Twin Bridge, the boys give life to an ancient legend and are accidentally transported to the real battle in 1297 AD
While there, “they are tasked with saving one of their ancestors to preserve the future of their family line. Set in Scotland, the film explores the juxtaposition between the lives of modern teenagers and the brutal reality of the past Middle Ages.”
This looks like it could be a great movie and it comes from the writing duo Kyle Rideout AND Josh Epstein (Eadweard, Adventures in Public Schools ) with Rideout attached to direct the film.
The film is produced by Daniel Bekerman, who recently developed the Donald Trump film The apprentice which was just presented in competition at Cannes.
