Prime Video has released the trailer for their R-rated spin-off limited series. Sausage Festival: Foodtopiabased on the raunchy 2016 animated comedy Sausage Festival written by Seth Rogen, Kyle Hunter, Ariel ShaffirAND Evan Goldbergbased on a story by Rogen, Goldberg and Jonah Hill.
The series follows Frank, Brenda, Barry and Sammy as they try to build their own food company.
Co-authors behind the original Sausage Festival movie (along with Seth Rogen AND Evan Goldberg), Ariel Shaffir AND Kyle Hunter serve as executive producers and showrunners.
Executive producers include Rogen, Goldberg, James WeaverAND Alex McAtee via Point Gray Pictures with Madeline Blair supervision for Point Gray Pictures.
Corrado Vernon (who co-directed the original) returns to direct the series and will also serve as executive producer alongside Annapurna Television. Megan Ellison, Patrick ChuAND Andrea Millstein.
In the spin-off series, Rogen returns to voice the main character, along with other castmates Michele Cera, Kristen Wiig, David KrumholtzAND Edward Norton. New voice actors include Yassir Lester, Sam Richardson, Will ForteAND Natasha Rothwell.
All eight episodes of the series will be released on Prime Video on July 11. Check out the trailer below:
