If you’re a fan of what George Miller done with Furiosa: A Mad Max Sagayou’ll love the news that the film is getting the Black & Chrome treatment!
This will be a black and white version of the film, and it’s the same thing he did with him Max Mad: Road Furywhich in the end was fantastic!
Miller confirmed this news while guesting on a recent episode of Happy Sad Confused podcasts. When asked about a potential black and white version for Furiousthe director said it’s already finished!
Miller said: “We’ve already done this. It’s the last thing I did on this film, and I call it Tinted Black & Chrome. I have to say it’s really interesting, I’m still trying to demystify why the white and black, for me, has something more elemental.
He went on to explain: “I still can’t understand it. It’s not because they look like old black and white films, it’s something else. It’s like if we took a picture of ourselves right now, it might look a little more dramatic if it were in black and white.”
No word on when the Black & Chrome version of the film will be released, but I’m excited to watch it! Here’s hoping this monochrome edition gets a theatrical release!
