Here’s a great poster for Disney’s classic 1954 adventure film 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. The art was created by the artist Karl Fitzgeraldfor Bottleneck Gallery and it’s awesome!
Art “takes us to the deepest depths with its interpretation of Jules Verne’s classic tale, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. Karl’s painterly approach and experience with nebulous scenes make this underwater adventure the perfect match for the multi-faceted artist.”
I’m sorry because I got to the press too late and it’s already sold out. This is one of my favorite adventure films.
The film is a captivating adaptation of Jules Verne’s classic science fiction novel. The story follows the adventures of Professor Pierre Aronnax, his assistant Conseil and harpooner Ned Land as they are captured by Captain Nemo aboard the technologically advanced submarine, the Nautilus.
As they travel beneath the ocean’s surface, the crew encounters an array of underwater wonders and dangers, from giant squids to sunken shipwrecks.
