A new report claims that Sony and Marvel Spider-Man 4 will kick off a new trilogy of Spider-Man films. Ms. Marvel and Batgirl are also said to be directing Adil El Arbi AND Bilall Fallah he might be in the running to direct the three films.
The report comes from Jeff Sneider, who claims that Marvel and Sony are looking for a director, or pair of directors, to work on all three new Spider-Man films.
It has been explained that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige is taking his time choosing one or more directors who will handle the film’s creative process, so the film may not go into production this fall, as previously reported.
Other directors said to be on the list include Drew Goddard (Hut in the woods), Sam Raimi (Spiderman), Justin Lin (Fast and furious franchising), James Wan (Aquaman), John Francis Daley & Jonathan Goldstein (Dungeons & Dragons) and what is highly unlikely Jon Favreau (Iron Man).
It was already said previously Spider-Man 4 will see Peter Parker fully transition into Spider-Man and leave Peter behind.
It was explained: “The idea going forward now is to give him a sense of independence. In his mind, Peter Parker is gone… but Spider-Man lives on.
“Since he’s lost or separated from everyone he’s ever loved, all he has left to do is be Spider-Man, whether the city loves him for it or not.
“And as the Spider-Man title continues to consume Peter’s life little by little, Peter Parker will fade into the background and continue to slowly fade from existence. This point in the story can be compared to Robert Pattinson’s Batman in The Batman.”
It seems like all these rumors and details could go in a completely different direction when Marvel and Sony finally hire a director to make the film.
