A new Elden Ring The DLC story trailer has been released Elden Ring: The Shadow of the Erdtreeand this tells the epic and dark lore behind the story that the DLC was created around.
The trailer came with the following details: “In the Shadowland, a place darkened by the Erdtree, the Empyrean Miquella awaits the return of her promised Lord.
“Here’s a taste of what to expect from the Elden Ring: The Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for the action RPG. Discover strange new lands and dark secrets in FromSoftware’s biggest expansion to date.”
The three-minute trailer chronicles the historic war waged by the evil Messmer, as well as the response of Miquella, a central character in the DLC who was mostly just a background character in the main Elden Ring game.
I love Elden Ring, and it’s one of those games I slowly continue to play as time allows. It looks like this DLC will be a fantastic addition.
FromSoftware will release the file The shadow of the Erdtree DLC on June 2nd.
There will be several editions of the expansion available to players:

Elden Ring: “Shadow of the Erdtree” Edition – Special bundle including the physical Elden Ring base game and a digital copy of the “Shadow of the Erdtree” expansion available only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Premium Pack – Includes the “Shadow of the Erdtree” expansion and includes a digital art book and bonus digital soundtrack content for the expansion. Available digitally on all platforms.

Deluxe Edition – Includes the Elden Ring base game, “Shadow of the Erdtree” expansion, digital art books, and digital soundtracks for both the base game and expansion. Available digitally on all platforms.

Elden Ring: “Shadow of the Erdtree” Collector’s Edition – Includes a single voucher code for your favorite platform for the “Shadow of the Erdtree” expansion, an 18-inch statue of “Messmer the Impaler,” an art book 40-page physical and digital soundtrack. This will be exclusive to the Bandai Namco Entertainment Store (shipping limited to US and Canada).
