RICK & MORTY: THE ANIME Story details and clips featuring Morty celebrated as a hero

Adult Swim has released another fun clip from its upcoming episode Rick and Morty spin-off animated series Rick and Morty: the anime.

Rick and Morty: the anime will show “Rick relaxing in a pseudo-world between multiverses, Summer helping Space Beth fight the evil Galactic Federation, and Morty falling in love with a mysterious girl who appears to be a timeless being.

“So… more of the same for the Sanchez family. However, mysteriously absent from this recap is the status of Jerry Smith. It is explained that the Smith family members will “explore new depths in this new world, and that included Jerry.”

The preview of Rick and Morty: the anime features Morty on a new planet with a new alien species, celebrating the fact that he saved their planet.

There is a sign that says “Happy Independence Day” and a photo of Morty’s face hangs on a building while the alien species’ radio explains that Morty is about to be honored.

The series was directed by Takashi Sano, and speaking about it he said: “What I tried to accomplish with these 10 episodes was take all my favorite parts of watching Rick and Morty, compress them to extract the essence, and then add a unique Japanese touch.” . I would like you to enjoy the adventures of Rick and Morty as they travel through time and space, trapped in all sorts of chaos.”

He added: “Rick and his crew’s exploits across the multiverse pose challenges to the family bond, but they always rise to the occasion. It’s a life-affirming show, and Jerry is no exception. I’m honored to have been given the chance an opportunity to tell a new story about this amazing family. I hope you enjoy their adventures!”.

Rick and Morty: the anime will arrive this year on Adult Swim and Max.
