Actor and musician Tim McGraw will star in an untitled bull riding drama series for Netflix. The announcement came during Netflix’s Upfront presentation on Wednesday.
The series will be written and created by Brandon Campo, who will also serve as executive producer. Camp will serve as co-showrunner alongside Taylor Elmore.
Set in the fierce and competitive world of bull riding, the series follows a megastar champion (Tim McGraw) who faces a life-or-death crossroads when confronted with the arrival of a fearless young rider whose very existence tests his his ways and brings to light secrets that force him to deal with his past.
The series will be produced by Skydance Television and Down Home. Tim McGraw, Tim Staples, Brian Kaplan and Joel Bergvall for Down Home, as well as David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Matt Thunell serve as executive producers.
