The video offers some new footage along with an interview with the cast and crew talking about what the next season will entail as far as the story and characters, and I’m so excited to see this story continue to unfold!
The series is based on the appendices of JRR Tolkien’S The Lord of the Rings books and the story is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth.
The second season of the series is described as follows: “Sauron has returned. Driven away by Galadriel, without army or ally, the rising Dark Lord must now rely on his own cunning to rebuild his strength and oversee the creation of the Rings of Power, which will they will allow him to bind all the peoples of Middle Earth to his sinister will.

The series is developed by the showrunners JD Payne AND Patrick McKayand it was previously explained that Season 2 is accelerating the pace of the narrative and the scope of the battle scenes.
Production has been underway since late 2022 at Bray Studios, just outside London. The first season was filmed in New Zealand, but the decision was made to change the filming location because the UK is “considered cheaper and is also where the company is creating a multi-show hub”.
