Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga director George Miller I would love to work with Star Chris Hemsworth again on another film project, and was also available to direct him in Thor 5 for Marvel Studios.
While speaking with ComicBook, Miller was asked if he would be open to directing Hemsworth in Thor 5 and said of the actor: “I would work with Chris on anything. I really would. He’s a wonderful actor. He has the full range of everything. skills.”
He added: “I mean, you have to be athletic, physically. But you also have to be athletic emotionally and intellectually to take on these very, ultimately quite complex, really any roles.” So, I’ve been very lucky with my entire cast and especially Anya [Taylor-Joy] and Chris matched. Especially towards the end of the month.”
George Miller directing a Thor movie!? This could be freaking awesome! A fifth Thor film was eventually announced Thor: Love and Thunderbut other than that, Marvel hasn’t said anything about it.
Regardless, Miller could breathe some exciting life back into the Thor franchise, I imagine he would tell a badass, epic Thor story!
I have no idea this will ever happen, but Marvel would be stupid not to at least consider it and see what kind of story Miller would propose. But I would be happy for Miller to make more Mad Max movies and any other kind of original movie ideas that he’s throwing around with his crazy imagination!
