Greta Lee (Past lives) AND Kingsley Ben-Adir (Bob Marley: a love) are in talks to play the role of director and producer Louis Leterrier’S (The Incredible Hulk, now you see me) next sci-fi horror film 11817.
In the film, “Unexplained forces trap a family of four in their home indefinitely. As modern luxuries and life-or-death essentials begin to run out, the family must learn how to be resourceful to survive and outsmart who – or what – keeps them trapped…”
Leterrier previously spoke about the film, saying: “Directing projects where the audience gets behind the characters has always been my goal. However complex, imperfect, heroic, we identify with them as we experience their journey.”
He added: “It’s what excites me about the totally original concept of 11817 and the family at the center of our story. This is an experience cinema audiences will not forget.”
Obviously, the director believes that Lee and Ben-Adir are the actors he wants to see bring his characters to life.
Lee comes from a string of successes including Past livesApple TV drama The morning show and that of Sony Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Versewhile Ben-Adir’s last two films include Bob Marley: a love AND Barbie.
Further casting is underway for the project, based on a screenplay by Matthew Robinson.
