Sigourney Weaver joins the documentary ALIENS EXPANDED and here’s a trailer

A new four-hour documentary titled Expanded aliens is in development and promises fans that “You’ll never watch it Aliens the same way again” after seeing it.

This will be the ultimate companion for James Cameronis a 1986 sci-fi action classic and features interviews with director James Cameron and the star of the franchise Sigourney Weaver!

Weaver will share “untold experiences from the set of Alienshow Ripley’s world evolved in the sequel and how the film became a science fiction classic.”

The paper was directed by Ian Nathanwho said in a statement: “Having Sigourney Weaver join Expanded aliens it’s a crowning achievement.

“Ripley is the heart of the film, the heart of the story, and Sigourney gave one of the most impactful performances of her career in Aliens. With his wonderful memories and thoughts, this documentary serves as an essential companion to the alien universe.

“It’s an honor to work with Sigourney and I can’t wait for everyone to see what she brings to the documentary!”

Robin Block, CEO of CREATORVC and producer of Aliens Expanded, added: “Ripley is a history-making and game-changing character in genre cinema.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sigourney Weaver into the documentary fold, joining her colleagues James Cameron, Gale Anne Hurd, Paul Reiser and more.

“With his addition to the film, we are confident that fans will find Aliens Extended to be the definitive documentary about the landmark film that changed cinema.”

Sigourney Weaver’s portrayal of Ripley is “considered one of science fiction’s greatest characters, known for challenging gender roles in genre films and changing the course of cinematic history.

“The role of Ripley in Aliens also earned Weaver her first Oscar nomination, a landmark achievement given that the Academy had given little recognition to science fiction and genre films.”

Expanded aliens Backers can take part in the project with pre-order packages made available at www.aliens-expanded.com, now extended until May 13, 2024.

Expanded aliens scheduled for release in June 2024. As a long-time fan of Aliens, I can’t wait to watch this documentary!
