THE OFFICE spinoff, set in the same world as Dunder Mifflin, is taking off and will receive a synopsis and be available for streaming

It has been announced that the spin-off series will be set in the same world as the hit NBC show The office has found a home, streaming on Peacock, and new details have been revealed, including a synopsis of the show.

The untitled mockumentary comedy series created by Greg Daniels and Michael Koman, set in the same universe as Dunder Mifflin. Domhnall Gleeson (About the weather, Ex machina) AND Sabrina Impacciatore (The White Lotus) will lead the cast of the show, which begins production in July.

Peacock’s announcement provides the first official details on the branch’s premise. The new series produced by Universal Television will find “the documentary crew that captured the Scranton branch of Dunder Mifflin looking for a new topic when they discover a historic dying Midwestern newspaper and the publisher trying to revive it with volunteer journalists” .

Earlier in the year it was revealed that Daniels had opened up development space to explore ideas for a follow-up series to the Emmy-winning series. The office. The new project is not a reboot.

To date, Daniels’ small group of most trusted writers have written more episodes for the first few seasons, we hear, as casting continues with a focus on the office staff and potentially another series lead.

I like this idea for the new series and I think it could really work. We will keep you updated with more information as the project progresses.
