As you know, Jonathan Nolan he worked with his brother Christopher Nolan as co-author of The dark Knight saga. These guys have made some great films and Jonathan would love to make more Batman films if the opportunity arises.
While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter, Jonathan Nolan was asked if he would ever be interested in returning to the Batman franchise in the future.
Nolan said: “Wouldn’t that be a dream? That period was 10 years of my life [from] when I got the call to work Batman beginsand it was epic.
He added: “Working with Christian [Bale]Heath [Ledger]Morgan Freeman, Michael Caineand to honor an American icon. What if I had the chance to go back and work on it again? Absolutely.”
He continued: “We moved on to other things. And, of course, other people picked up the baton and moved forward with those characters.”
Nolan was then asked who he would like to see play the Dark Knight in an upcoming Batman film, and he replied: “For me, it will always be Christian.”
I would actually love to see Nolan’s vision of the Batman universe continue, but that will never happen.
