A sweet and funny trailer has been released for the indie drama Ghost lighta coming-of-age story that follows a father and daughter as they go through a difficult time in their lives and try to find meaning both in and out of their relationship.
The film is the protagonist Keith Kupferer, Katherine Mallen Kupferer, Tara MallenAND Dolly DeLeonand is co-directed by the directors Alex Thompson (Saint Frances, Rounding) AND Kelly O’Sullivan, co-directing their first feature film together after a few other previous shorts. The screenplay is written by Kelly O’Sullivan.
The synopsis reads: “When melancholic construction worker Dan finds himself estranged from his wife and daughter, he discovers community and purpose in a local theater’s production of Romeo and Juliet. As the drama on stage begins to mirror his own life, he and his family are forced to face personal loss.”
This sounds like a lovely movie. Ghost light premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year and was met with a warm reception. Check out the trailer below and watch Ghost light in select US theaters on June 14.
