MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE: REVOLUTION Prequel Comic Series Preview (Exclusive)

Dark Horse Comics and Mattel have teamed up for a new limited comic series Masters of the Universe: Revolution. This is a four-issue prequel to the upcoming Netflix series of the same name and we have an exclusive preview for you to check out!

In the series, “Journey to the dawn of one of the most consequential and difficult team-ups in the universe. Hordak is an ambitious general, eager to make his mark; Skeletor is a power-hungry aspiring wizard.

“Joining forces, fusing ancient eternal magic with the advanced technology of the Horde, may satisfy all their evil hearts’ desires… but first they must survive each other.”

Evil meets evil in the comic book series, written by Revolution producers Tim Sheridan, Rob DavidAND Ted Biaselliwith illustrations by Daniel HDRinking of Keith Champagnecoloring from Brad Simpsonand written by AndWorldDesign.

The cover of issue #1 will be illustrated by Dave Wilkins, with a variant cover by Tyler Boss. To celebrate the release of Masters of the Universe: Revolution, Dark Horse Comics and Mattel will also reveal the artwork for a special variant cover that will be included in issue #4.

This variant cover, illustrated by Masters of the Universe veteran Tim Seeley and colored by Brad Simpsonhighlights a variety of characters from the animated show.

Masters of the Universe: Revolution Issue #1 (of 4) will arrive in comic shops on May 15, 2024. It is now available for pre-order at your local comic shop for $3.99.

The animated series comes from the showrunner Kevin Smithand is produced by Mattel Television Studios.
