Disney has revealed the replica Darth Maul Legacy lightsaber hilt, which will be released on Star Wars Day, May 4th.
The Sith Apprentice: Darth Maul Legacy Lightsaber Set is the title of their Star Wars: The Phantom Menace 25th Anniversary Collectionwhich will also include some clothing items.
You can actually see a promotional teaser that dramatically reveals Darth Maul’s hilt, which you can watch on page 54 of Disney’s Secret Order.
The replica comes with a certificate of authenticity and will be a limited edition of 7000 units, and there is no doubt that it will sell out quickly.
If you want one, it will be released on Star Wars Day 2024 starting at 8am PT / 11am ET here at the Disney Store. The hilt will be priced at $400.
The official description reads: “‘Fear is my ally,’ proclaims the Dark Lord of the Sith, Darth Maul, whose other ally is this Legacy Lightsaber Set. This special limited edition set was created to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.
“The finely detailed recreation of the Dathomirian’s legendary dual-wield features sound effects and lights up red when you attach two of our lightsaber blades, sold separately.
“Presented in a spectacular wooden box with Darth Maul graphics, the interior lights up red and plays Duel of the Fates when the lid is opened.”
