Kevin Feige once told Hugh Jackman not to return to the role of Wolverine

It was a big surprise for Marvel fans to learn this Hugh Jackman he would return to play Wolverine after his incredible film Logan.

Jackman said he would retire from the role of Wolverine after that film, but that retirement didn’t last long, because Marvel Studios and Ryan Reynolds asked him to come back for Deadpool and Wolverineand of course, he accepted the gig!

Well, it turns out that at some point later Logan It was released, Kevin Feige he told Jackman not to return for the role. Feige was actually very nervous about Jackman returning to the role.

Feige explained in an interview with Empire: “I said, ‘Let me give you some advice, Hugh. Do not come back. You had the best ending ever Logan. It’s not something we should undo.’”

Don’t worry, though! They’re not undoing anything that happened Logan, this is another version of the character. This is something Feige has already confirmed.

After Jackman was asked to play Wolverine again for the new Deadpool movie, he decided that another take on the character was exactly what he was excited about.

Jackman said: “I was about an hour into the journey. And this question came to mind: ‘What do I want to do?’ And as soon as I asked the question, I wanted to do it Deadpool and Wolverine. I just knew it. I drove for another hour. I couldn’t stop thinking about it. And I got out of the car and called Ryan and said, ‘Ryan, if you want me, I’m in.'”

It will be a lot of fun to see Wolverine back in action, but seeing him team up with Deadpool in some sort of crazy multiverse adventure will be a big hit with fans! The film will explode at the box office!
