Emmy and Golden Globe winning actor Paolo Walter Hauser (Cobra Kai, Richard Jewell, Black Bird) had several weeks!
His career is moving forward with incredible strength, as he first signed on to play actor and comedian Chris Farley in the Josh Gad-directed biopic of Farley’s life.
Then it was announced that he would play the role of Captain Ed in Untitled Naked gun reboot from Paramount Pictures. Now it has been revealed that Hauser has joined the cast of the highly anticipated Marvel film Fantastic Four.
Hauser’s role in the superhero film is under wraps, as is its plot. As previously reported, the main cast of the film includes Pedro Pasquale as Reed Richards (aka Mr. Fantastic); Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm (aka the Invisible Woman); Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm (aka the Human Torch); AND Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm (aka the Thing). More recently, Giulia Garner came on board to play Shalla-Bal, a version of the Silver Surfer.
Matt Shakman (WandaVision) directs from a screenplay by Eric Pearson, Josh Friedman, Jeff KaplanAND Ian Springer. Peter Cameron (WandaVision) also wrote something about the project. Production will begin this summer, with the film due for release in theaters on July 25, 2025.
