Adam Scott will star and direct DOUBLE BOOKED with Sterling K. Brown, Zazie Beetz and Alexandra Daddario

Adam Scott (Separation) will star in and direct his first feature film titled Double bookingand it seems like an interesting project.

Sterling K. Brown (American fiction), Zazie Beetz (Deadpool 2), AND Alessandra Daddario (The White Lotus) will join him in the film.

Double Booked follows “a successful self-help writer (Scott) and his pregnant wife (Beetz) who plan a weekend at a secluded lodge, only to meet another couple (Brown and Daddario) at their cabin upon their arrival .

“When a blizzard arrives, they’re forced to spend the night together, and what seems like an innocent system glitch turns into a chilling battle of deception with deadly consequences.”

Things are going to get pretty intense with this movie! It seems like a strong project for Scott to come on board for his first directing gig.

Scott said in a statement: “I couldn’t be more excited to work with Protagonist and Dichotomy to bring this bold, audience-pleasing thriller to the screen.

“I’ve been looking for something to direct for years and Double Booked checked all the boxes. Together with our incredible cast, I can’t wait to make it happen and share it with the world.”

The film’s screenplay was written by David Levison (Welcome home), and is produced by Adam Goodmann (Juror no. 2) AND Matt Skiena (Juror no. 2) for Dichotomy Creative Group and Adam Scott e Naomi Scott for Great Scott Productions.

Protagonist CEO Dave Bishop said in a statement: “Double Booked is a tense, edgy revenge thriller, full of twists and turns that ratchet up the tension scene after scene.

“Adam has assembled a truly stellar cast to bring his vision to life, and his new take on a beloved genre will resonate with audiences around the world. It’s the perfect addition to our Cannes list.”

Scott currently stars in the hit AppleTV+ series Separation, for which he received an Emmy and Golden Globe nomination. She also starred in the seminal NBC series Parks and RecreationHBO Little big liesAND The good place.
