YELLOWSTONE Actor Says Series Will Have ‘Best Ending Ever’

Second Yellowstone series actor Ian Bohen, the end of the show will offer the “best ending ever.” That’s a huge statement, especially with all the behind-the-scenes drama surrounding the series.

Yellowstone was originally supposed to last seven seasons, but was cut short due to problems between them Kevin Costner and the production team. The series will now conclude with the second half of season five, which may not see Costner return to the role of John Dutton.

I don’t see how the series will be the best ending to the story without any kind of real closure on Costner’s character who has been the rock of the series up to this point. But we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

Bohen said in an interview with ET: “The fans will understand [best] conclusion that perhaps could be written. Everything will land in a perfectly set way. A lot of shows just end… and they don’t satisfy you.”

“This will be completed in a way that makes sense.” She added: “I don’t know if any show has ever ended so well. We expect to have the best series finale in history. Too safe maybe, but I think it will be what it will be. Thank you all for your patience… It will be worth it, I promise.”

Star of the series Kelly Reilly We previously talked about the work that went into developing this season finale, saying, “Man, I’m really looking forward to it [the fans] have them [the last episodes].”

He added, “We can only shoot this show in the summer because when winter comes to Montana, from November to May, it snows — and to shoot this show in the snow with horses, it’s just not possible.”

Reilly continued: “So we have a window of time and last year we lost it because of the actors’ strike. So I can’t wait for them to bring the show back. I can’t wait to give them their show back and I can’t wait to finish it.”

There’s no telling when we’ll see the second half of season five air, but I’ve enjoyed this show and I’m excited to see how the creative team will bring it to a close.
