Thanks Newton is the latest actor to join the cast of Wednesday Season 2 on Netflix. He’ll be a great addition to the cast!
There are no details on who he will play in the series, but there is no doubt that he will fit perfectly into this story and the fantasy world in which it is set.
Newton joins the cast recently Steve Buscemi AND Jenna Ortegawho will return to reprise her role as the protagonist, who is going through her adolescence while a student at Nevermore Academy.
The first season ended with Wednesday Addams successfully solving a series of grisly murders, while foiling an attempt to destroy Nevermore Academy and its students.
Alfred Gough AND Miles Millar created the series and also serves as co-showrunners and executive producers. Tim Burton he directed the first four episodes of the first season and is also an executive producer on the project.
Speaking previously about what we can expect from season two, Ortega said: “We’re definitely leaning a little bit more towards horror but it’s really, really exciting because throughout the show, whereas Wednesday needs a bit of an arc , she never really changes and that’s the wonderful thing about her.
He continued: “There are really, really good jokes, and I think everything is bigger, it’s much more action-packed. Each episode will probably feel a little more like a movie, which is nice.”
Gough and Millar also hinted that we might see more members of the Addams Family and further explore Wednesday’s relationship with his mother, Morticia.
