Actor Steve Carell he signed on to star opposite Tina Fey in the Netflix comedy series The four Seasons. The couple previously starred in the romantic comedy Date night, which was fun, so this should be a lot of fun too. The series is based on the 1981 Universal film of the same name, and Fey is co-creating with the former 30 Rock colleagues Lang Fisher AND Tracey Wigfield.
Details about the role played by Carell are still under wraps. The original film was written and directed by Alan Aldaproduced by Martin Bregman and starring Alda e Carol Burnettand told the story of three couples who vacation together every season.
Alda and Marissa Bregman will produce the series written by Fey, Fisher and Wigfield, which is expected to go into production later this year.
It looks like it’s going to be a great series and I can’t wait to see who else they choose.
