I have a must-see documentary that focuses on the making of Steven Spielbergis a classic 1977 science fiction film Close encounters of the third kind.
This film blew me away when I first saw it as a child, and it had a great effect on me with its powerful and terrifying story.
I recently came across this documentary about the making of the 2001 film, which I’d never seen before, and it’s full of all kinds of fascinating insights and interesting details about how the film was made that I’d never known before.
The film explores life-altering encounters between humans and extraterrestrial life forms. It follows Roy Neary, an ordinary electrician from Indiana, whose life takes a dramatic turn after witnessing a UFO.
As Neary becomes obsessed with understanding the meaning behind his encounter, he experiences a series of mysterious visions and a compulsion to travel to a remote place.
Parallel to Neary’s story, the film portrays scientists and government officials trying to decode similar alien signals. Their collective quest culminates in a grand meeting at Devil’s Tower, Wyoming, where humans and aliens have a peaceful and monumental encounter.
If you are a movie buff and a fan of this movie, then you need to watch it!
