FALLOUT renewed for season 2 by Prime Video!

I have some great news for everyone Fall fans out there! Prime Video has renewed the series for a second season and I couldn’t be more excited for the story to continue with a new chapter!

The series comes from Kilter Films and executive producers Jonathan Nolan AND Lisa Joywho will return to develop the next season of the show.

The series was a major success for Amazon and has since ranked among the streaming service’s top three most-watched titles ever and the most-watched season globally. Rings of power.

Nolan, Joy and Kilter Films said in a joint statement: “Praise be to our insanely brilliant showrunners, Geneva [Robertson-Dworet] and Graham [Wagner], to our amazing cast, to Todd and James and all the Bethesda legends, and to Jen, Vernon, and the amazing team at Amazon for their incredible support of this show. We can’t wait to blow up the world again.”

The showrunners themselves added: “Holy shit. Thanks to Jonah, Kilter, Bethesda, and Amazon for having the courage to make a show that seriously addresses all of the most serious problems in today’s society: cannibalism, incest, Jell-O pie. And there’s more!”

Todd Howard, the executive producer, Bethesda Game Studios, said in a statement: “It was one of the most spectacular projects we have ever been part of. Jonah and the team have done an incredible job and we are thrilled not only with the reaction to the show, but also with the fact that we get to work with these amazing people even more.

Jennifer Salke, head of Amazon MGM Studios, said in a statement: “Jonah, Lisa, Geneva and Graham have captivated the world with this groundbreaking and wild show. The bar was set high for lovers of this iconic video game and so far it seems we have exceeded their expectations, attracting millions of new fans to the franchise.

He added: “The cast led by Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and Kyle MacLachlan was fantastic! We would like to thank Jonah and Lisa and our friends at Bethesda for bringing the show to the United States, as well as Geneva and Graham for coming on board as showrunners. We are thrilled to announce season two after just one week and take viewers even further into the surreal world of Fall.”

Based on the video game series by Bethesda Game Studios, Fall it is the story of those who have and those who have not, in a world where there is almost nothing left to have. Two hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle inhabitants of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully strange, and highly violent universe awaiting them.

The series is the protagonist Ella Purnell as Lucy, an optimistic Vault dweller with an all-American spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is put to the test when she is forced to surface to save her father.

Aaron Moten is Maximus, a young soldier who rises to the rank of squire in the militaristic faction called the Brotherhood of Steel. He will do anything to further the Brotherhood’s goals of restoring law and order to the wasteland.

Walton Goggins is the Ghoul, a morally ambiguous bounty hunter who carries within him 200 years of post-nuclear world history.

These disparate parties collide when they chase an artifact from an enigmatic researcher who has the potential to fundamentally change the power dynamics in this world.

The cast of the series also includes Kyle MacLachlan (Twin peaks), Moises Arias (The King of Staten Island), Sarita Choudhury (Homeland), Michael Emerson (Person of interest), Leslie Uggam (Dead Pool), Francesca Turner (The boys), Dave Register (Increased), Zach Cherry (Separation), Johnny Pemberton (Ant man), Rodrigo Luzzi (Dead players), Annabel O’Hagan (Law and Order: SVU), AND Xelia Mendes-Jones (The Wheel of Time).
