Here’s an unmissable trailer for an incredible original sci-fi web series titled A thousand suns, which launches online next week. The footage shared in this first trailer is fantastic! I’m very excited about this!
A thousand suns is described as “a mind-bending science fiction anthology series that explores visions of humanity’s past, present and future.” The trailer says, “In the vastness of time, many stories weave into one, in the light of a thousand suns.”
The series comes from the director who bears this name Macgregorand is produced by a company called Blackmilk Studio. Macgregor has assembled a team of filmmakers to make “films that act as a gateway into our hopes, dreams… and nightmares.”
A total of six anthology episodes will be released and titles include Episode 1 – Ice; Episode 2 – Red; Episode 3 – Exodus; Episode 4 – Affair; Episode 5 – Bugs; and episode 6 – Tomorrow. Unfortunately there are no details to share regarding the plot of these episodes.
Blackmilk Studio’s website offers some insight into the filmmakers, saying, “We like simple things. Fast cars. Spaceships. Japanese whiskey. And BIG explosions! We figured if we like these things, maybe others will like them too.”
The group of directors involved in this series includes Ruairi Robinson (The Last Days on Mars, Corporate Monster), Tyson Wade Johnston (Lunar, simplified), Tim Hyten (Angels and fire, expedition, snake bite), Philip Gelatt (The Bleeding House, They Remain, The Spine of Night).
