In 2020, Michael J. Fox, who was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease at age 29 in 1991, walked away from acting. But now she’s considering returning to acting again… if the right project comes along.
During a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Fox said, “If someone offers me a part and I do it and have fun, great. I would act if something came up that I could put my reality, my challenges into, if I could understand it.
I wasn’t sure if we would ever see Fox again in a movie or TV role, but it would be really cool if some kind of project came along that would do him good.
Fox, who is ruined by his Family ties co-star, Tracy Pollan, he continued, “My goals are constantly changing. My biggest goal, I think, was to start a family. We have four amazing children, and that was the most important thing. And then the other thing is about the work that we have done with the foundation and the desire to achieve these goals.”
During a previous interview, he recalled his experience appearing in two episodes of The good wife spin off The good fight iIn 2020 and I’m having a hard time remembering his lines.
He explained: “I thought about it Once upon a time in Hollywood. There’s a scene where Leonardo DiCaprio’s character can no longer remember his lines. He goes back to his dressing room and is yelling at himself in the mirror. Simply crazy. I had this moment where I looked in the mirror and thought, ‘I can’t remember this anymore.’”
Fox said he said to himself, “Well, let’s move on” and that the decision ultimately “was peaceful.” Would you like to see Fox appear in another movie or TV show again someday?
