Actress Jennifer Garner is teaming up with Netflix again to star in the Christmas comedy, Mrs. Claus. Garner has previously starred in Netflix’s popular family films Family leave AND Yes, dayas well as The Adam projectthe science fiction film starring Ryan Reynolds that marks one of the biggest to date in terms of viewership.
Details about the film’s plot are still under wraps. Leah McKendrick (Scrambled) is writing the screenplay, with Reese Witherspoon producing Hello Sunshine, who worked with Garner most recently on the acclaimed Apple TV+ thriller series The last thing he said to me.
Garner recently signed on to star alongside Paul Walter Hauser in Max Winkler’s true crime film Fruit cakewhich tells the true story of Sandy and Kay Jenkins, a seemingly honest middle-class couple who went on to embezzle millions from the famous Texas company Collin Street Bakery.
Executive Garner produces and stars in Apple’s The last thing he said to mewho recently secured a second season order, and also recently starred in the reboot of the beloved Starz comedy Party down.
Garner will next be seen reprising her role as Elektra in the highly anticipated MCU film Deadpool and Wolverineout July 26th.
