A new trailer for The Garfield Movie has been released, teasing the fact that our favorite, lasagna-loving orange cat will be eating all the things this Memorial Day weekend.
This new interpretation of the classic Jim Davis features of the comic Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Super Mario Bros. movie) as the voice of Garfield, which he joins Samuel L. Jackson, Hannah Waddingham, Ving Rames, Nicholas Hoult, Cecilia Forte, Harvey Guillén, Brett GoldsteinAND Bowen Yang.
The Garfield Movie is directed by Marco Dindal (The Emperor’s new tendencies), from a screenplay by Paul A. Kaplan and Mark Torgove (Increase hope) and David Reynolds (Finding Nemo).
In the film, “After an unexpected reunion with Garfield’s long-lost father, the cat Vic (Samuel L. Jackson), he and Odie are forced to abandon their pampered lives to join Vic on a high-stakes heist.”
This looks like it will be fun! My kids are excited to see it and it will be a great way to kick off the summer.
