Director Damiano Leone is currently in production on Terrifier 3 and recently teased a new scene so gruesome it almost made the actor who plays Art The Clown, David Howard Thorntonvomit.
The first two films are overflowing with ridiculous amounts of over-the-top gore. There are some crazy scenes in these movies, but it looks like things will get even worse in this new one.
Leone shared the following X saying, “I can honestly say we just shot one of the most insanely horrible scenes in the Terrifier series and you’ll never believe who couldn’t handle it on set… BTS is hilarious. I can’t wait for you all to see it!” “
David Howard Thornton later confirmed this on X, saying, “I’ll just say this is the kill that almost made me vomit. This is a first.” He previously said: “I will continue to push the boundaries in Terrifier 3 and I can’t wait for you to see what’s in store for Art the Clown.” So he keeps his promise.
If the scene in question was too much for Art to handle, then it looks like we’d better prepare for a horrifying madness with Terrifier 3. In the next chapter of the story, “Art the Clown is set to wreak havoc on the county’s unsuspecting residents of Miles as they fall asleep peacefully on Christmas Eve.
Terrifier 3 will be released in cinemas nationwide on October 25, 2024.
