AMC has released a new trailer for Interview with the vampire Season 2. The next chapter of the story will continue Anne Rice’s iconic supernatural vampire horror story. The season will see Louis and Claudia embark on a dark and violent journey to Paris where they encounter a group of theater vampires who have a connection to Lestat.
Even though I am a fan of Anne Rice’s novels and the original film adaptation, the first season of this series was difficult to complete. I don’t think I’ll be back for round two.
In the year 2022, “The vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac tells his life story to journalist Daniel Molloy. Picking up on the bloody events that occurred in New Orleans in 1940, when Louis and young Claudia conspired to kill the vampire Lestat de Lioncourt, Louis recounts his adventures in Europe, a quest to discover Old World vampires, and the Theater Des Vampires in Paris , with Claudia.”
“It is in Paris that Louis meets the vampire Armand for the first time. Their courtship and romance will prove to have devastating consequences in both the past and the future, and Molloy will investigate to uncover the truths buried in the memories.
Interview with the vampire is written and produced by an Emmy nominee Rolin Jones, who also serves as showrunner. Stars of the second season Jacob Anderson in the role of Louis de Pointe du Lac, Sam Reid in the role of Lestat de Lioncourt, Delainey Hayles like Claudia, Ben Daniels like Santiago, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Asad Zaman like Armand and more.
