Mega Man was developed by Capcom and released in 1987 for the Nintendo Entertainment System. The game follows Mega Man, an android created by Dr. Light, as he battles the evil Dr. Wily and his army of robotic minions.
Players must navigate through a series of side-scrolling levels, defeating bosses known as Robot Masters and acquiring their unique weapons.
