Stupid, crazy love directors Glen Ficarra AND Giovanni Requa they are set to direct the film Misadventure for Sony Pictures. Not much is known about the film, but it is described as being in the wake of Stupid, crazy loveso expect a fun romantic comedy.
The film is in early development stage, but according to the report, the script has been written by Marcus Martelfeatures several notable roles and could attract some high-profile talent. Stupid, crazy love had an impressive cast that included Steve Carrell, Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone AND Juliana Moore.
Misadventure will mark Ficarra and Requa’s first directorial effort since 2016. They have worked primarily as writers on a few projects, as well as some high-profile TV shows. They recently directed the Apple limited series WeCrashed hero Jared Leto AND Anne Hathaway as well as the Paramount Plus series Rabbit hole hero Kiefer Sutherland. They had also been involved in the hit NBC series this is us.
