Here’s a new ’70s-style trailer for the horror film The first omenmade to give off the same kind of vibe as the trailer for the original 1976 film. You know, it’s kind of funny, this trailer makes the film really interesting.
The film tells the story of the young woman who gives birth to the Antichrist and the Devil’s son. “When a young American woman is sent to Rome to begin a life of service to the Church, she encounters a darkness that leads her to question her own faith and uncovers a terrifying conspiracy that she hopes will bring forth evil incarnate.”
The first omen stars Nell Tiger free (Servant), Tawfeek Barhom (Mary Magdalene), Sonia Braga (The Kiss of the Spider Woman), Ralph Ineson (The Witch, Onyx the Fortuitous), AND Bill Nighy (Life).
The film is directed by Arkasha Stevensonbased on characters created by David Seltzer (The omen), with a history of Ben Jacoby (To bleed) and a screenplay written by Tim Smith AND Arkasha Stevenson AND Keith Thomas (Fire starter). The producers are David S. Goyer (Man of Steel) AND Keith Levine (The House of Night) and the executive producers are Tim Smith, Whitney Brown (Rosalina), AND Gracie Wheelan.
The film comes from 20th Century Studios and will be released in theaters on April 5, 2024.
