We learned this earlier this week David Schwimmer was supposed to star in Disney+ Goose bumps Season 2. We have now learned that it will be joined by Ana Ortiz (With love, Vittorio) and many other actors in the R. L. Stein anthology series.
Oritz plays the role of Jen, “a dedicated police detective who remains rooted in her Brooklyn neighborhood after experiencing a tragic event involving her friends during her teenage years.” Other cast members include Sam McCarthy (Dead to me) AND Jayden Bartels (Side hustle) as fraternal twins Devin and Cece, respectively; Elijah Cooper (That Lay Lay girl) as CJ; Galilee La Salvia (Party down) as Frankie; and FFrancesca Noel (R#J) like Alex.
The season two synopsis reads: “The new story begins with Devin and Cece, fraternal twins adjusting to life with their recently divorced father, Anthony. When the two discover a looming threat, they quickly realize that dark secrets lie between them, setting off a chain of events that unravel a profound mystery. As they delve into the unknown, Devin, Cece and their friends – Alex, CJ and Frankie – find themselves entangled in the chilling story of four teenagers who mysteriously disappeared in 1994.
Nicola Stoller (The Muppets) AND Rob Lettermann (Pokémon: Detective Pikachu) developed the series and will serve as executive producers alongside the showrunner Hilary Winston (Community).
