Here’s a trailer for a cool looking new indie film titled Stun hunting. The story centers on a character named Nina (Nahéma Ricci), a young and headstrong exotic dancer, who finds herself stranded in the far north.
She convinces her latest clients, “five men on a bachelor hunting trip, to host her for a few days. In this male microsociety, at times hilarious and philosophical, Nina begins to feel a sense of belonging never felt before. The arrival of a mysterious stranger forever changes the course of this impromptu vacation.”
The film is described as “raw and dreamlike, Hunting Daze offers a unique universe where humor, horror, the mysterious and the sensual combine.” It is also said to be a “modern, dreamy and haunting folktale, revealing the tenuous threads of human nature”.
The film comes from the director Annick Blanc, who is making his directorial debut. The film is also the protagonist Bruno Marcil, Frédéric Millaire-Zouvi, Marc Beaupre, Alexander Landry, Massimo GenoisAND Noubi Ndiaye as Dudos.
The film will premiere at the 2024 SXSW Film Festival.
