Fantastic trailer for the romantic drama PARACHUTE, Brittany Snow’s directorial debut

An amazing trailer has been released for the romantic drama Parachutethe actress’ directorial debut Brittany snowfrom a screenplay co-written by Snow and Becca Gleason. The film is the protagonist Courtney Eaton (Mad Max: Road Fury, Yellow jackets) as Riley and Thomas Mann (Me, Earl and the dying girl, Chemistry lessons) as Ethan, with Francesca Reale, Gina Rodriguez, Joel McHale, Dave BattistaAND Scott Mescudi.

The film’s synopsis reads:

In Parachute, Riley (Courtney Eaton) is a fun, energetic young woman, but she struggles with an eating disorder and body image issues. Ethan (Thomas Mann) is a once-promising musician in his early twenties. The two meet and simply “click”. To Ethan, all of Riley’s flaws are beautiful, she wants to help her see herself the way he sees her. Riley adores Ethan and is inspired by his talent and selflessness. Their relationship is a balancing act between their love for each other and their combustible personal problems. But they truly feel like soul mates and the world only makes sense when they face it together.

Looks like an excellent watch. I love a good romantic drama and I love these actors, so I can’t wait to watch this movie. Parachute it originally premiered at the 2023 SXSW Film Festival a year ago. It also screened at the Dallas, Woodstock, Raindance and Denver film festivals last year. Check out the trailer below and catch the film when it opens in select US theaters on April 5.
