Henry Cavill He will reportedly be coming to the MCU and the character he will play will shock fans. Cavill has expressed interest in joining the MCU over the years and has specifically mentioned the role of Captain Britain.
Cavill was also rumored to be cast as Doctor Doom, and in response to that, a Hollywood insider MyTimeToShineHello, teased, “He was offered something else and accepted.” The squirrel added“Henry Cavill’s role in the MCU will come as a shock to some.”
So, the big question is: who will Cavill play and where will he make his big debut? There is a lot of chatter and speculation about this online. I can tell you that there are a couple of people out there who get it right.

I believe Henry Cavill will make his MCU debut in Marvel Deadpool and Wolverine. As for who he’s playing, I think GeekHub got it right.
They are reporting that Cavill will appear as Wolverine. This fan casting has been around for years and there is a lot of fan art featuring Cavill as Wolverine. But it looks like Marvel may have actually pulled the trigger.
Now, I have no idea if it will be the MCU’s new version of Wolverine, but it will most likely be a variant of Wolverine that will come and go in the story. There is also the possibility that he was mocked in the Deadpool and Wolverine trailer as Patch, who as we previously learned would be played by a different actor who isn’t Hugh Jackman. That shot in the trailer could be the back of Cavill’s head. Even if it’s not Cavill, I think there’s a good chance we’ll see Cavill as a variant of Wolverine in the film.
