New trailer for Guy Ritchie’s Netflix British Crime series THE GENTLEMEN

Netflix has released a new trailer for Guy RitchieNetflix’s next crime series The Lords, based on the director’s entertaining 2019 film of the same name. Ritchie actually created the series, directed the first two episodes, and co-wrote it Matteo Read.

I thought the movie was great and it looks like this series will provide similar entertainment. It seems like it’s full of all those crazy things we love about Ritchie crime films.

In the series, Eddie Horniman (Teo Giacomo), unexpectedly inherits his father’s luxurious country estate, only to discover that it is part of a massive cannabis empire. Unfortunately for Eddie, a group of rather unsavory characters from the British criminal underworld want to take part in the operation. “Eddie tries to play gangsters at their own game. However, when he gets sucked into the world of crime, he starts to get a taste for it.”

Ritchie previously said in a statement: “The world of The Lords it’s a bit of me. We can’t wait to bring fans back to that world, introducing new characters and their stories, and I’m thrilled to do so with this extremely talented cast.”

The cast includes Kaya Scodelario (Crawl, the pale horse), Daniele Eng (I hate Suzie), Joely Richardson (Lady Chatterley’s lover), Lock, stock and two smoking barrels actor Vinnie Jones, Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, better call Saul), Chanel Cresswell (This is England), Michele Vu, Max Beesley (Hijack), Jasmine Blackborow (Maria Antonietta), Harry Goodwin (In his hands: the emergency), Dar Salim (The deal), Pearce Quigley (Detectors), Ruby SearAND Pietro Serafinowicz (The mint).

Check out the trailer below and get ready to watch The Lords the series in 2024.
