JURASSIC WORLD reboot director Gareth Edwards talks about launching the franchise

It was recently announced that Universal Pictures and Amblin Entertainment had hired Rogue One AND The creator director Gareth Edwardsto direct the new Jurassic world reboot they are producing. Well, the director commented that he joined the film franchise for the first time during an event for his latest film, The creator. When asked about directing Jurassic world he replied:

“I was about to take a break and start writing my next movie idea and this is the one movie that would make me drop everything like a stone and dive right in. I love Jurassic Park. I think the first movie is a masterpiece cinematic… so this opportunity is like a dream for me. And to work with Frank Marshall, Universal and David Koepp, who’s writing that script, I think they’re all legends. So I’m really, really excited.”

There are no details on the story Jurassic worldbut it will be “a completely new version” of the franchise, and none of the original actors will be part of it Jurassic Park OR Jurassic world he will return for the new film. I think it’s safe to say, judging by the title, that it will be set in a world overrun by dinosaurs.

Steven Spielberg I will return as a producer on the film, and I only hope that this creative team will be able to deliver a new, epic take on the franchise and tell a great new story!
