Vertical has released a trailer for the upcoming survival thriller titled Preywhat stars Ryan Phillippe, Emile HirschAND Mena Suvari. The story centers on a young couple of Christian missionaries whose plane crashes in the middle of an animal reserve, full of dangerous animals.
In the film, “After an extremist militant group threatens their lives, a young couple is forced to flee their Christian missionary post in the Kalahari Desert,” reads the film’s official synopsis. “After gaining passage aboard a rickety plane, piloted by a corrupt smuggler, their escape to safety is almost within reach. But when their plane loses power and crashes, they discover that a greater threat awaits them as they find themselves stranded in the middle of an animal reserve populated by man-eaters: lions, leopards and hyenas. Wounded, frightened and chased by extremists, this ragtag group of passengers must fight for survival against both man and animal, where only the strong will survive.
Prey is written and directed by Mukunda Michael Dweli and will be released in theaters and on demand on March 15, 2024.
