DOCTOR SLEEP Director Mike Flanagan shares his hilarious take on Sony’s MADAME WEB

Mike Flanaganthe director behind Doctor Sleep, Midnight snack, The Fall of House UsherAND The Haunting of Hill Houseshared his review of Sony’s latest Marvel film, Mrs. Weband will definitely make you laugh.

For his review on Letterboxd, Flanagan decided to write Nicole KidmanAMC Theaters’ infamous speech from the theater chain’s advertising campaign. When you read it and think about the type of movie Mrs. Web by the end, you can’t help but laugh.

He also included some fun tags in his post which include “responsibility”, “great power”, “exposure to cats”, “convenient explosives”, “murderous visions”, “fireworks because”, “britney spears”, ” don’t say Peter Parker”, “wait because she’s blind” and “terrible nurses”. You also added “ADR”, “dubbing”, “no really”, “the ADR”, a reference to the terrible ADR used for most films. That of Tahar Rahim plays the villain Ezekiel Sims in the film.

Here’s Flanagan’s full take Mrs. Web:

We come to this place… by magic. We come to the theater to laugh, cry, care. Because this is what we all need: that indescribable feeling we feel when the lights start to dim and we go to a place we’ve never been before; not just entertained, but somehow reborn…. together. Dazzling images, on a huge silver screen. Sound I can hear. Somehow, heartbreak feels good in a place like this. Our heroes feel like the best parts of us and the stories feel perfect and powerful. Because here… They are.

Yes, it works adequately for this film! I still for the life of me cannot understand why or how this movie was made and released. For me it’s crazy!
