This is the trailer for a new horror movie titled The Piper, which is a dark and twisted retelling of the classic legend of the Pied Piper. The film stars the late Julian Sands (Warlock) and this is the shared synopsis:
“A young composer is given the opportunity of a lifetime when she is tasked with finishing her late mentor’s concerto. She soon discovers that playing music evokes deadly consequences, leading her to discover the melody’s disturbing origins and the evil force she has awakened: the Pied Piper.
The film was written and directed by Erlingur Thoroddsen and also stars Carlotta Speranza, who plays The Nun in Conjuring Universe. The film actually looks pretty good compared to other low budget horror films made.
Samuel Goldwyn Films and Tubi Films will bring The Piper to select theaters and VOD/digital platforms on March 8.
