With Zack Snyder doing his cinematic work on Netflix, these fans are hoping that if the rights to the Snyderverse come to Netflix, the director would be able to continue his vision of the DC Universe, which would involve two more Justice League films, Batman by Ben Affleck. movies and more.
Now, Warner Bros. has licensed DC characters to other streaming services. One of the biggest was Bruce Timm, JJ AbramsAND Matt Reeves’animated series Batman: Caped Crusaderwhich is now under development by Amazon.
But I seriously doubt that WB will sell the rights to the Snyderverse to Netflix while James Gunn and Peter Safran are currently in the process of building their own DC cinematic universe.
Even James Gunn he answered to the fan movement, saying, “I have to say, this has to be the wackiest hashtag ever since 1) Netflix has expressed no such interest (even though we’ve discussed other things) and 2) Zack hasn’t expressed any interest and seems to be happy doing what he’s doing (and, yes, we talked too).”
So, don’t expect anything to come of it.
