Actress Linda Hamilton she has played some iconic roles over the years, her most famous being that of sarah connor in Terminator franchise, as well as some fun and memorable TV roles, such as the ’80s series The beauty and the Beastthe fan favorite series Spindleand, most recently, the hilarious sci-fi comedy series Resident alien. Hamilton is generally a badass who can take on any action or sci-fi role and make fans feel like he can take over the world. Now he is heading to another iconic series that has a huge fandom, with the Netflix show Stranger things.
Hamilton will play an unknown role in the show’s fifth season, but he will appear in all eight episodes of the final season, so we can count on his integral role in the story. Hamilton is a huge fan of the show, so it’s nice that she’ll be there to help usher it in.
When asked by io9 about her experience being on a show she’s a big fan of, Hamilton responded that it’s “completely different from anything else I’ve done.”
“I really felt like [is] Is there a place for me on that show? Having watched it for four seasons and loving it so much, I thought: I don’t belong there. This is their world.
Hamilton continued:
“It’s really interesting [to] try to fit into a story you know very well. For me it was a little strange; I felt a bit of impostor syndrome there. But we’re making it work. I’m happy and having a great time on that show. They created a good place for me. And I’m going to run with it.”
I know he will give a fantastic performance, as always, and I know the Duffer brothers will conclude the story in the best way possible for the fans. Stranger things will return for its final season in 2025.
